3 brands made for your curves

The fact that a garment sometimes doesn't fit properly isn't due to the body, but often simply to the cut of the garment. At some point, I stopped looking at the number on the label and started paying attention to the fit, the material, and how the garment feels. Since then, I shop more relaxed – and, above all, more successfully.

Once you know what a good cut feels like, you can clearly see which brands have a true signature style. Three of them have been with me for years – and they perfectly match my curves, my style, and my need for quality every single time.

Today I would like to introduce you to the three that consistently impress me.

STAUD

The STAUD Wells dress is my personal miracle piece—a perfect cut for curves that works in every color. I own it in several colors, as I briefly mentioned in my blog post about myself as a founder (please don't tell my husband), and every time I wear it, I think, "This dress was made for me." The brand manages to accentuate feminine silhouettes in such a way that you simply feel comfortable and beautiful—whether it's for dinner, at the office, or just because it's Monday. The only downside? Most of the collections only go up to size 46 (US 16).

We currently have the Wells Dress in midi length in stock, size 44, in the beautiful petrol blue color. Click here for all the details about the dress :)

Maison Blanche

For me, Maison Blanche is the brand that shows fashion can be more than just "beautiful." It creates spaces. Spaces for freedom, identity, and bodies that refuse to be confined by norms. The collections are deliberately unconventional, often deconstructed, always bold—and precisely because of this, surprisingly wearable. The cuts give you room instead of forcing a shape—it's this very freedom of movement that makes the perfect cut for curvy silhouettes.

Maison Blanche is edgy, but never generic. It's one of those brands that makes you feel that timeless doesn't always have to mean classic. Maison Blanche reminds me that fashion isn't just about appearance, it's about attitude.

We actually have two oversized jackets in the shop right now – officially they're jackets or coats, but they're cut in such a way that you can easily style them as blazer dresses. Thanks to their oversized cut, they fit perfectly in size 48/50 and, due to their dense fabric, can be easily cinched at the waist with a belt in winter. A true Maison Blanche piece: strong, versatile, and completely free of rules.

Marina Rinaldi

Luxury without compromise: clean lines, high-quality materials and cuts that integrate curves – not correct them.

Marina Rinaldi belongs to the Max Mara family, and you can feel it immediately: the same love of lines, the same precision, the same high-quality fabric language. For me, the brand proves that luxury for curves doesn't have to be complicated. The brand belongs to the Max Mara family – and you can tell right away: high-quality materials, precise lines, and that Italian understanding of how clothes should drape to make you feel empowered.

If you're looking for a label that is luxurious yet also covers a wider range of sizes, then Rinaldi is the right choice.

Rinaldi doesn't work with tricks or illusions, but with honest, clean cuts that don't hide curves, but integrate them. Dresses that provide support in all the right places without constricting. Jackets that shape shoulders without looking stiff. And coats that give you that quiet "I know exactly who I am" feeling.

Good to know: The next drop will feature a down jacket from Rinaldi Sport. A real highlight – warm, lightweight, and with typical Rinaldi design.

Max Mara (as a little inspiration)

And because great tailoring artistry tends to remain among its peers, it's worth taking a closer look at Max Mara itself. Many of my "aha" moments came from their iconic coats and dresses—pieces that emphasize lines, balance, and proportion. Even though Max Mara isn't primarily focused on curvy bodies, the brand continually inspires me with its demonstration of the power inherent in a perfect cut. You can immediately see how closely the family is intertwined. And that's precisely why you'll find select pieces from this Max Mara family here in the shop.

I'm curious: Which brands triggered that 'perfect cut' moment for you? I love discovering new names – and maybe I'll even include them in my collection with the next drop.
